Pudding Scramble

Wednesday Nov. 1┬áSantiago’s homecoming court came out in a group effort as they competed together in the pudding scramble held at lunch.

Dressed in the classic circus colors, red, yellow, and blue, the court raced in groups of three to tables with bowls of pudding located at the opposite end of the quad.

Each group member had to eat all the pudding in one of the nine bowls until they were able to read the secret letter hidden at the bottom. Once they had cleared enough pudding and confirmed the letter with an ASB member, they had to race back to the center of the quad and told the letter to homecoming court member Tina Rastegari, who was elected the official scribe for the relay race.

After the homecoming court had gathered all the letters, they had to unscramble the nine letters to create a word that went along with the Circus theme for Santiago’s Homecoming week.

The Homecoming court cheered and danced when they succeeded in guessing the correct phrase, “The big top.”
